Rigid frames: Crane structure

Image-GoddenF45 Container crane, Port of Richmond. Crane consists of two frames on pneumatic tires joined together by horizontal crane beams near the ground, and by the overhead traveling crane beam. An interesting structure for computing internal forces due to weight of a container and the acceleration of the crane. Drive is applied equally to 2 diagonally opposite wheels which run parallel in any direction. (Richmond, California)
