ObjectivesTo test natural rubber, high-damping, and lead rubber bearings and compare the results with the proposed design formula.
AbstractThe present research deals with the static test results of laminated rubber bearings and its comparison with proposed design formula. Used laminated rubber bearings are natural rubber bearing, lead rubber bearing and high damping rubber bearing. The basic characteristics of full-scale models used in design were confirmed and the ultimate capacity of the bearings were evaluated from the test of reduced scale model these static characteristics of bearings under the condition of ordinary temperature were agreed with design values.
