Three Dimensional Constitutive Viscoelastic Laws with Fractional Order Time Derivatives

It is shown that for an elastically compressible material, the 4-parameter fractional solid model (RTG model) which has been used extensively to approximate the elongation behavior of various polymers, can be constructed from the 3-parameter fractional Kelvin model (RT model) in shear and the bulk modulus of the material.
