Cyclic Testing of Three Full-Scale Steel Beam-Column Connections

Summarizes the results of seismic-type cyclic testing of 3 identical full-scale beam-column connection specimens. The beams were fabricated from a 36 X 245 section of A36 steel and the columns were fabricated from a 14 X 398 section of A572-Gr50 steel. The test setup was designed to test specimens in a horizontal position. The support system consisted of 3 reinforced concrete reaction blocks fixed on the floor with high strength rods.
