There are four parts to this report: Part 1: Elastic and viscoelastic analysis of orthotropic cylinders. The equations for linear orthotropic elasticity are presented with applications to the thermoelastic behavior of thick-walled cylinders. Examples are given to illustrate the quantitative effect of orthotropy and a step-by-step technique for solving bilinear elastic cylinders. Part 2: Bilinear elasticity with applications to thick-walled cylinders. A general bilinear elastic theory is developed with solid propellant mechanical properties represented by a bilinear model. Part 3: Solution method for nonlinear elastic problems with applications to thick-walled cylinders. Part 4: Thermal deformation of viscoelastic materials.
