Behavior of Tubular Truss Joints Under Static Loads

Provides preliminary information for an effective design of directly inter-welded, two dimensional truss joints built of circular steel tubes or pipes. A number of specially designed joints were tested under static loads to determine the elastic and ultimate load response of those connections and to investigate the effect of the in-plane eccentricity and resulting inter-welding of the tubular web members
