Flexible Culverts Under High Fills: Equilibrium Considerations

Work on the subject of loads on rigid culverts under high fills is extended to account for certain deformations of the culvert. In this study, the additional feature of the deformation of the culvert as the fill material is placed is taken into consideration. However, the study considers only equilibrium states of the flexible culvert and the problem of buckling is ignored.
