Plane and Axisymmetric Finite Element Analysis of Locally Orthotropic Elastic Solids and Orthotropic Shells

A general computer program for the linear elastostatic analysis of 2-dimensional locally orthotropic solids is presented. Solids of revolution bound to a shell of revolution, as well as states of plane strain or plane stress in solids bonded to a cylindrical case, may be analyzed. The finite element method is employed.
