Thermomechanical Analysis of Viscoelastic Solids

A thermomechanical constituitive equation appropriate to viscoelastic solids undergoing small, quasi-static deformations is utilized along with field equations for this class of deformation. The heat conduction equation is assumed to be unaffected by the deformation and is therefore solved separately but simultaneously with the mechanical field problem.
