Dispersion of Cylindrical Waves in a Viscoelastic Body

The problem studied involves a body of infinite extent through which runs an infinitely long cylindrical hole of circular cross section. The material of the body is viscoelastic which is modeled in the study as a standard solid. The problem is that of finding the response in the body to a uniform pressure against the surface of the hole that has an arbitrary dependence on time.
