Analysis and Design of Curved Box Girder Bridges

The main geometric parameters of curved highway bridges are studied in this dissertation and two analysis methods are developed for which general computer programs are written. On the basis of the new finite element method and the finite strip method of analysis, the behavior of curved girder bridges is studied and design recommendations are presented.
