A detailed review of the proposed Southern Crossing cable stayed girder bridge for the San Francisco Bay area is presented in two volumes. Volume 1 report outlines the proposed bridge design and deals with linear and nonlinear behavior of the bridge subjected to static loads. This volume provides detailed drawings showing load conditions on the proposed spans.
