Analysis and Design of Skew Box Girder Bridges

A detailed presentation is given of the reduction, analysis and interpretation of theoretical results obtained using a finite element program CELL to analyze a series of single span, simply supported, four cell, skew box girder bridges having varying angles of skew and span length. Theoretical results are compared with experimental results from a previous study on aluminum model bridges of identical dimensions.
