Accuracy Control of a Direct Spectral Method for Nonlinear Elastic Problems

An accuracy control procedure for nonlinear elastic problems discretized by the direct spectral method is presented. Two forms of the Lax-Richtmyer conditions for convergence are discussed and an error estimation formula suitable for numerical applications is given.
