Arcadia Dam in Oklahoma will be a rolled earthfill embankment dam of about 100 feet maximum height and a crest length of 3500 feet with an impervious core and total volume of about 1.7 million cubic yards. The purpose of this investigation was to use static finite element methods to estimate the displacements and pore pressures in the dam and its foundation during and after construction.
