The influence of SPT procedures in soil liquefaction resistance evaluations

Available data is reviewed in order to evaluate the energy ratios associated with different standard penetration test (SPT) procedures used in engineering practice. These relationships are then used to reevaluate all available data pertaining to liquefaction-SPT relationships with a view to establishing a more definitive statement of the SPT procedure associated with such correlations.
