The tables below provide detailed information on the near-field records used in system analyses for the SAC Steel Project. The first set of ten 2-component acceleration time histories has been derived from historical recordings. The second set of ten 2-component acceleration time histories has been calculated from physical simulations of fault rupture and seismic wave propagation through soil strata.
The individual components of each ground motion have been rotated 45 degrees away from the fault-normal and fault-parallel orientations.
